Oggi a Kemet – L’Antico Egitto in podcast si parla di lavoro e lavoratori nell’Antico Egitto. Sussidiari, libri, fumetti, cartoni, film…fin da quando siamo bambini il nostro immaginario viene bombardato con ricostruzioni più o meno veritiere dell’Antico Egitto. Non importa che siano pensati per bambini, ragazzi o adulti, un elemento che non manca quasi mai è la presenza di schiavi occupati nella costruzione di opere monumentali. È questa la verità? Gli egiziani antichi facevano davvero un uso così elevato di lavoro schiavile? La puntata di oggi cerca di fare un po’ di luce su questo argomento, prendendo come spunto il villaggio di Deir el-Medina e l’organizzazione del lavoro nelle Valli dei Nobili, specialmente per quanto riguarda le pitture parietali.
