Using Isaiah’s prophecy of the Light that “has come,” this speaks to the reality of the Lord’s presence in the throes of the exile and the hope He brought to God’s people thousands of years ago – a similar hope He continues to bring to us, knowing that this Light has indeed come and is shining brightly here and now! It speaks not only hope but radiates far beyond “God’s people” to those around the world. This, too, is a very applicable word and promise to us of how God desires to use us to radiate His light.
