Edward (Teddy) Chadwick’s body was found floating in the Grand River in Brantford, Ontario (Canada) on Friday July 27, 1975 by two teens who happened to be biking by.
The pathologist deemed his cause of death as drowning. His manner of death was considered accidental and law enforcement deemed he drowned by accident while swimming and subsequently closed his case.
Edward had been in a severe car accident 9 years before his death which left him with lasting injuries, preventing him from swimming. Not only did Edward not swim, but he was also found with a bloody nose.
In 2003 his case was reopened as new information came to light and law enforcement now believed foul play to be involved. Having exhausted all leads, the file was reclosed.
The family believe they know what happened, but no one is talking. His Fiancée is still heartbroken with no closure in sight.
