Yes, vitamin D has been the darling of integrative medicine for about 15 years … and yes, a good fibre such as #psyllium can craft an enviable stool and microbiome … but the impact of omega-3 fats on inflammation, cellular and mitochondrial membrane structure, cardiovascular health, cognitive and neurological function, carcinogenesis, metabolic syndrome (and the list could go on and on) is vast, deep, and well researched.
The study of these fats is so important and impactful that it has likely changed the way we think about inflammation.
So put that dirty canola oil back on the shelf … in the garage, next to the WD40.
