To begin we have to understand where we are right now with our goals.
We are going to want to ask ourselves:
How do you feel when you think about this goal you are setting?
Why don’t you already have it?
The answers to these questions will give us the reason or the current thoughts that are blocking our progress. What we want to do is watch out for these thoughts.
Remember that these thoughts are based on our past performance not our future results. If we want to achieve something that we’ve never achieved before or create something that doesn’t exist yet, we'll need to change those thoughts for thoughts that will allow us to create the type of energy that’ll produce new results.
While we are working towards our goal, we'll need the feelings of confidence, accomplishment, happiness, motivation and commitment, as to generate the fuel to take action in the direction towards achieving our goal.
Let’s decide today what we want to accomplish, no more procrastinating for momentary gratification but rather live through the discomfort now for the long term reward, and make this goal happen no matter what!
