In this recording I start out by talking about the medium of podcasting and how other shows inspired me to get into it. Then I spend the majority of the pod discussing a few powerful films I've seen recently. 'Planet of the Humans' is a documentary about climate change, the effects of human expansion and the dissapointing and doom inducing realities of the "green energy movement". 'Oppenheimer' is another one where I get into the awesome power of the bomb and human fallibility. There is a small music jam session in the middle there. I play a clip or two of the renowned scientist James Lovelock answering questions about the future of earth's habitability. And finally at the end I review a few chapters of Upton Sinclair's famous novel 'The Jungle'. Of which I will revisit in a future episode. I know, it's a bleak rundown. Not every episode will be like this.
