What are you is the most common question we face as mixed-raced individuals. Christine Holmes decided to write about it with the same title, aimed for kids!
Christine Holmes, a licensed social worker with her own practice, decided to write a children’s book that focuses on a growing biracial population of half Asian and half white kids, after seeing most biracial children’s books focus on mixed black and white kids. Christine also tells readers that What Are You is autobiographical, and gives us further details and insights in her own journey through growing up half Taiwanese and half white, and how her daughters have inherited a rich legacy.
