Although that sounds rather dramatic, The FAIRtax Guys justify their wish by researching the website OpenSecrets.org which has a great deal of information on the dollars that whirl around Washington by the lobbying firms in order to influence members of Congress. They also look at a few positively stupid tax proposals.
