On this episode, we're diving into this weeks metaverse news. Japanese video game publisher Square Enix is selling the Tomb Raider franchise to Sweden’s Embracer Group in a $300 million deal. Square Enix said it is selling the assets to cut down on costs and invest in new technologies like the blockchain. Meanwhile, Disney is gearing up for it's expansion into the metaverse using a scattershot approach. And finally, Meta (Facebook) just faced another $3 Billion loss in it's metaverse prospects.
