Vestiti sobri, colori poco appariscenti, tagli finto-semplice ma in realtà ricercati. Eppure c'è un dettaglio che non sta per niente bene con tutta la ricercatezza che i giapponesi mettono nel vestire.

Se qualcuno dovesse chiedere cos'è lo stile giapponese? Sicuramente risponderei: è uno stile molto asciutto, molto rigoroso, colori anche molto sobri, quindi molto grigio, molto nero, molto beige, e non avrei tutti i torti.

Effettivamente camminando per le strade di Tokyo sembra di essere dentro un film giapponese, perché le persone sono esattamente vestite così come uno si immagina che siano.
Allora, ho notato una cosa, che le donne usano tantissimo gli scamiciati con sotto camicie a maniche lunghe, ma anche con maglioni, cioè proprio dappertutto, dove ti giri ci sono le donne con questi scamiciati, sempre molto sobri, con le linee molto semplici, molto lunghi anche, che vanno ben oltre il polpaccio.

E anche quando le persone più giovani sono vestite in modi un po' più strani, in modo più un po' più appariscenti, sembra sempre che siano uscite da un film perché effettivamente c'è questa ricercatezza incredibile anche nelle persone che sono vestite nei modi più semplici.

Non ho visto gente trasandata, sto un po generalizzando, ma un po' come quando si generalizza dicendo ah! Gli italiani si vestono bene. Che poi vabbè, ci sarebbe anche da capire cosa significa vestirsi bene.

Sì, ho notato una grandissima attenzione nell'abbigliamento e pochissima gente vestita in modo trasandato. Gli unici che ho visto vestiti in modo trasandato diciamo che sono i turisti che balzano subito agli occhi appunto perché si vede che sono vestiti in modo diverso.

Ora penso ai nostri giovani, alle nostre ragazze, come si vestono con i colori sgargianti, queste cose molto appariscenti, ecco qua no, a parte il fatto che poi quasi nessuno ha tatuaggi, però una cosa devo dire che mentre c'è tantissima attenzione per l'abbigliamento, che è ricercato, curato, ci sono delle delle ragazze che sembra stiano andando a teatro negli anni '50 e probabilmente stanno semplicemente andando a scuola oppure in ufficio, c'è invece poca attenzione per le scarpe. Spesso si vede gente vestita in modo molto curato, però guardi giù e magari alle scarpe un po' non molto curate, un po' sformate, un po' graffiate oppure non pulitissime, spesso un po' sformate.

È una cosa che ho notato e visto che sono in Giappone lo faccio entrare nei miei 3 minuti grezzi.

So, I've noticed one thing, that women use a lot of pinafores with long-sleeved shirts underneath, but also with sweaters, I mean just everywhere, everywhere you turn there are women with these pinafores, always very sober, with very simple lines, very long also, going well beyond the calf.

And even when younger people are dressed in ways that are a little bit stranger, in ways that are a little bit more flamboyant, it always looks like they came out of a movie because actually there is this incredible sophistication even in people who are dressed in the simplest ways.
I didn't see any scruffy people, I'm kind of generalising, but kind of like when you generalise by saying ah! Italians dress well. Which then whatever, there would also be the question of what it means to dress well.

Yes, I noticed a great deal of attention in clothing and very few people dressed shabbily. The only ones I have seen dressed scruffily let's say are the tourists who immediately stand out precisely because you can see that they are dressed differently.

Now I think of our young people, our girls, how they dress in bright colours, these very flashy things, unlike here, apart from the fact that then almost no one has tattoos, however one thing I have to say that while there is so much attention to clothing, which is sought after, neat, there are some girls who look like they are going to the theatre in the 1950s and probably they are just going to school or to the office, there is little attention to shoes instead. Often you see people dressed very neatly, however you look down and maybe at the shoes a little bit not very neat, a little bit scuffed or not very clean, often a little bit misshapen.
