show moreIn the small hours of August 23, 1987, 16-year-old Don Henry and 17-year-old Kevin Ives set out together for a late night hunting trip with a pocketful of weed and a rifle. Just a few hours later, the two would be seen reclining on a railroad track mere seconds before they were mangled by a locomotive traveling 50mph.
Although the deaths were originally deemed an accident brought on by overindulgence in herbal refreshments, that determination didn’t square with everyone. Family of the victims smelled skunk, and it definitely wasn’t weed. Join J and Khadijah as JR relates the bizarre facts of the Henry/Ives murders - a case that escalated from an unfortunate accident to a convoluted carnival of corruption, medical monkey business, cruel cartels, and of course, plenty of polluted politicians.
