As salaamu alaikum, in regards to the question "Can an Islamic month have 28 days?" I read 1 article that stated in 1984 Ramadan was recorded as 28 days due to an incorrect start day. Some scholars (who these scholars were was not mentioned) corrected this by asking the people to fast the day after the Eid or feed 10 poor people. Did anyone find and authentic proofs on the matter?
