To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Woodstock Music and Arts Fair, Rhino Records has released three different collections recorded live at Max Yasgur's Farm in Bethel, New York on August 15th, 16th, 17th & 18th, 1969. There is an already sold-out 38-disc collection featuring everything recorded over the historic three days, a 10-disc collection with 162 tracks marking the first time every performer is represented, and a three-CD or five-LP collection, both with 42 tracks. This FREE national radio show features interviews with and songs by Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, John Fogerty (CCR), Pete Townshend (The Who), Carlos Santana, Grace Slick (Jefferson Airplane), Neil Young (CSNY), festival founder and promoter Michael Lang, and producer of the new collections, Andy Zax. These releases all represent the actual music that went down without any post-production sweetening, sound effects or performances that didn't happen at the actual festival.
