Note: The hadīth of Muādh bin Jabl mentioned in the book is in fact the hadīth of Anas bin Mālik -رضي الله عنهم- in as-Sahīhain. The wording of the hadīth in al-Bukhāri as follows: مَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ يَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صِدْقًا مِنْ قَلْبِهِ، إِلَّا حَرَّمَهُ اللَّهُ عَلَى النار.
