walaakum salaam this is a very sensitive topic as we're seeing brothers who are afraid for their daughters due to the situation with divorce. ie they feel that tying their camel is allowing their daugthers to have degrees (not because they want to), but because they see the disparaity in divorcing over and over to the point where they choose to have a degree for protection, just in case the marriage don't work. These days one can obtain a degree via online classes. There are so many horrible cases where women are leaving Islam due to the harm from their husbands... Some sisters would love to stay home but they unfortunately are tested with men who harm them on so many levels ending in divorce and being afraid to trust, (ie remarry), so, they end up going out the home, taking care of the children alone etc. .I've heard some say that they'd Never marry a muslim man again. Its very bad.... So, How do we address such serious issues? Allahu Yafudukum
