There is definitely something sinister going on here! Even in the very beginning, they said let's give this a try and if something isn't working, we can fix it later. They anticipated giving back a little and now you can imagine after this podcast that they will do what insurances do. Give a little to make you happy for a moment and then slowly but surely take back even more. A more blatant example of this kind of technique is the oil industry. Gas prices ebb and flow. They go down and we get happy, even if it's a little bit and then eventually they go up again.
So will the insurance industry eventually fix a little bit of this law and with all their money they will find a way to take that little fix back plus a little bit more! UNTIL IT'S ALL GONE! Until having insurance is totally useless but the law says that you have to have it! Thus turning honest citizens into lawbreakers because they see that the insurance is useless and will no longer pay for it.
