show moreIn this episode I'm joined by Wellington based stand-up comedian, Dan Boerman who just returned from a hell of a run at the Edinburgh Fringe and so wanted to spread some of the wisdom he acquired while over there doing everything solo and yet still having massive crowds with many sold out nights. Some of the things Dan suggested discussing were:
- How I marketed my show without PR/an agent
- Stuff that I wish I knew
- Benefits of Edinburgh / opportunities
- How to not lose lots of money*
- How to not have a mental breakdown*
We also chatted about how to find a venue as well as source some accommodation which I had heard were the two hardest things about doing the EdFringe. It was my first time speaking to Dan face to face and he was a lovely fella. I hope you enjoy it!
