WEEK 14: DAY 5
A SON WITH THE HEART OF SERVICE

Matthew 20:27-28
And if you want to be right at the top, you must serve like a slave.
Your attitude must be like my own, for I, the Messiah, did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give my life as a ransom for many.

You are a son! Know your identity and place. However, nothing beats a son with the heart of service.

As a mother, i get to have better understanding in the relationship of a parent and his child. A son sure of his identity is amazing but it is even more remarkable when that son has a heart of service, placing serving above positional rights.

Sons are truly defined in the place of responsibilities. It takes birthing to be a child but responsibility to be a son.

Romans 6:13
Do not let any part of your bodies become tools of wickedness, to be used for sinning; but give yourselves completely to God—every part of you—for you are back from death and you want to be tools in the hands of God, to be used for his good purposes.

Make the choice in submission to living for Him - let Him entrust you with matters of His Heart by being His dream of a reality. This is the worship required: serving Him in Spirit and in Truth.

1 Corinthians 12:5
There are different kinds of service to God, but it is the same Lord we are serving.

The way you express your service doesn't have to be the same way i do as a son but the link of our Master shouldn't be disputed.

Let your light so shine before men that they may glorify your Father in heaven - it is light but it is your light. The scale isn't in comparison but in your calling.

Romans 8:19
For [even the whole] creation (all nature) waits expectantly and longs earnestly for God's sons to be made known [waits for the revealing, the disclosing of their sonship].

For the world to experience Him, you have to serve. It is in service, potentials are revealed. It is in the place of responsibilities, skills are made known - it is in this space, we are disclosed and revealed.

Where can you serve in your space? How can your world experience you, hence, Him?
