Today Carmen and Casey get into the case of Laci Peterson. In part one they cover the crime in depth and talk about how this case and the media coverage surrounding it, changed how the United States treats crime. Laci Peterson was a wife and soon to be mother. On December 24th, 2002 Scott gave his wife a kiss & he left to go fishing.  That would be the last time Scott would see his eight month pregnant wife alive.  Laci & Connor Peterson’s deaths were horrific and tragic…but so was what happened to Scott.  Scott was crucified by the media, so did he get his right to a fair trial?
