In this Satsang, Jenny Maria shares from the powerful section The Holy Instant and Special Relationships, A Course in Miracles. She highlights the profound teaching that special love is not real love because it is selective, conditional, and based on separation rather than true joining. Using the past, the ego teaches us to define our needs and develop strategies to meet them. But in doing so, it keeps us locked in old patterns of fear, guilt, and attachment. Jenny Maria emphasizes that we cannot truly experience the gift of the Present, while bringing these faulty past-based interpretations into our relationships.

She also focuses on Jesus’ message that the Holy Spirit does not ask us to destroy our special relationships, but rather to offer them to Him for purification. Instead of using relationships to fill imagined needs or to reinforce a sense of lack, we are invited to allow them to be transformed into holy relationships—ones that serve a higher purpose and reflect the love of God.
