Agosto 16: Dios Librará Al Justo. (English Version after)
📖2 Pedro 2 RVA2015:
"Pero hubo falsos profetas entre el pueblo, como también entre ustedes habrá falsos maestros que introducirán encubiertamente herejías destructivas llegando aun hasta negar al soberano Señor que los compró, acarreando sobre sí mismos una súbita destrucción. Y muchos seguirán tras la sensualidad de ellos, y por causa de ellos será difamado el camino de la verdad. Por avaricia harán mercadería de ustedes con palabras fingidas. Desde hace tiempo su condenación no se tarda y su destrucción no se duerme. Porque si Dios no dejó sin castigo a los ángeles que pecaron sino que, habiéndolos arrojado al infierno en prisiones de oscuridad, los entregó a ser reservados para el juicio; y si tampoco dejó sin castigo al mundo antiguo pero preservó a Noé, heraldo de justicia, junto con otras siete personas cuando trajo el diluvio sobre el mundo de los impíos; y si condenó a destrucción a las ciudades de Sodoma y Gomorra reduciéndolas a cenizas y poniéndolas como ejemplo para los que habían de vivir impíamente; y si rescató al justo Lot, quien era acosado por la conducta sensual de los malvados —porque este hombre justo habitaba en medio de ellos y afligía de día en día su alma justa por los hechos malvados de ellos—; entonces el Señor sabe rescatar de la prueba a los piadosos y guardar a los injustos para ser castigados en el día del juicio. ¡Y especialmente a aquellos que andan tras las pervertidas pasiones de la carne y desprecian toda autoridad! Estos atrevidos y arrogantes no temen maldecir a las potestades superiores, mientras que los ángeles, que son mayores en fuerza y poder, no pronuncian juicio de maldición contra ellos delante del Señor."

En esta parte de la carta, el apóstol Pedro les explica a los cristianos cómo los falsos maestros y profetas han existido desde la antigüedad para engañar al pueblo de Dios. Muchos se harán pasar como cristianos pero demostrarán quienes son cuando empiezan a exponer sus enseñanzas contradiciendo la Palabra de Dios y negando al Señor. Estas personas van a abusar de la fe de algunos y van a vivir vidas desordenadas y van a ser malos ejemplos para el mundo de lo que es un verdadero cristiano.
Esto debemos entenderlo para que nuestra fe no sea afectada por algunos líderes espirituales que se van a corromper y dejar el camino de la santidad por ir tras las cosas temporales como la fama, el dinero y el sensualismo.
Para nuestra consolación, debemos recordar que el Señor guarda a aquel que es justo y que quiere agradar a Dios, que por lo general no son la mayoría y que son pocos los que realmente tienen un corazón limpio sin dejarse contaminar.
El apóstol nos muestra ejemplos como Lot, que fue librado de Sodoma; o Noé, que era el único agradable ante los ojos de Dios.
No nos olvidemos que muchas de las señales escritas en la Palabra de Dios se han cumplido. Además, la maldad ha aumentado como ya estaba escrito y estamos viviendo tiempos difíciles.

¡Sé fiel hasta el final! No te dejes presionar por tus amistades, en la escuela o en el trabajo. Si tú eres un padre o madre que continuamente tus hijos te ven orar, leer la Biblia y asistir a la iglesia, ellos te van a ver cómo un modelo a seguir; y cuando sean padres o madres, también lo van a hacer ellos mismos; pues vieron que de esa manera es que se agrada a Dios. Si ellos ven que eres una persona íntegra, que no andas enredado en cosas pecaminosas, ellos van a tener las fuerzas para hacer lo mismo, pues habrán tenido un gran ejemplo en ustedes. Cuando miren un mal ejemplo de algún líder religioso o espiritual, su fe va a permanecer firme, pues no van a poner la mirada en el hombre sino en Dios, en el Dios de sus padres. 🤔Consideremos:
¿Me estoy dejando seducir por la vida desenfrenada e inmoral de la sociedad?
¿Estoy firme en mi fe a pesar del mundo que me rodea?

August 16: God will rescue the righteous.

2 Peter 2:1-16:
But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed. By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does not slumber.
For if God did not spare the angels who sinned, but cast them down to hell and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved for judgment; and did not spare the ancient world, but saved Noah, one of eight people, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood on the world of the ungodly; and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, condemned them to destruction, making them an example to those who afterward would live ungodly; and delivered righteous Lot, who was oppressed by the filthy conduct of the wicked (for that righteous man, dwelling among them, tormented his righteous soul from day to day by seeing and hearing their lawless deeds)— then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment, and especially those who walk according to the flesh in the lust of uncleanness and despise authority. They are presumptuous, self-willed. They are not afraid to speak evil of dignitaries, whereas angels, who are greater in power and might, do not bring a reviling accusation against them before the Lord.
But these, like natural brute beasts made to be caught and destroyed, speak evil of the things they do not understand, and will utterly perish in their own corruption, and will receive the wages of unrighteousness, as those who count it pleasure to carouse in the daytime. They are spots and blemishes, carousing in their own deceptions while they feast with you, having eyes full of adultery and that cannot cease from sin, enticing unstable souls. They have a heart trained in covetous practices, and are accursed children. They have forsaken the right way and gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Beor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness; but he was rebuked for his iniquity: a dumb donkey speaking with a man’s voice restrained the madness of the prophet.


In this part of the letter, the apostle Peter explains to Christians how false teachers and prophets have existed since ancient times to deceive God's people. Many will pose as Christians but they will show who they are when they begin to expose their teachings by contradicting the Word of God and denying the Lord. These people are going to abuse the faith of some and they are going to live messy lives and they are going to be bad examples to the world of what a true Christian is.
This we must understand so that our faith is not affected by some spiritual leaders who are going to corrupt and leave the path of holiness to go after temporary things like fame, money and sensuality.
For our consolation, we must remember that the Lord keeps the one who is righteous and wants to please God, that in general there are not the majority and that there are few who really have a clean heart without allowing themselves to be contaminated.
The apostle shows us examples like Lot who was rescued from Sodom, or Noah who was the only one that was pleasant in the eyes of God.
Let's not forget that many of the signs written in the Word of God have been fulfilled. In addition, the evil has increased as was already written and we are living in difficult times.
It will encourage us to know that we have a promise of salvation and that the Lord is faithful to His promises, and He has promised to rescue us from the wrath to come.
Be faithful to the end! Don't be pressured by your friends, at school or at work. Sometimes it is not easy to make a difference, but when you think that God looks to the righteous, then it is worth standing firm on the path of life!
If you are a parent that your children continually see you pray, read the Bible and attend church, they will see you as a role model; and when they are fathers or mothers, they will also do it themselves; because they saw that this is the way that God is pleased. If they see that you are a person of integrity, that you are not entangled in sinful things, they will have the strength to do the same, because they will have had a great example in you. When they look at a bad example of a religious or spiritual leader, their faith will remain firm, because they will not set their eyes on man but on God, on the God of their parents.

Let's consider:
Am I being seduced by the unbridled and immoral life of society?
Am I firm in my faith despite the world around me?
Am I being light in the dark or is the darkness turning off my light?
