➡️ 📖 Apocalipsis 5:1-14 RVA2015:
Vi en la mano derecha del que estaba sentado sobre el trono, un libro escrito por dentro y por fuera, sellado con siete sellos. También vi a un ángel poderoso que proclamaba a gran voz: “¿Quién es digno de abrir el libro y de desatar sus sellos?”. Pero ninguno, ni en el cielo ni en la tierra ni debajo de la tierra, podía abrir el libro; ni siquiera mirarlo. Y yo lloraba mucho, porque ninguno fue hallado digno de abrir el libro; ni siquiera de mirarlo. Y uno de los ancianos me dijo: “No llores. He aquí el León de la tribu de Judá, la Raíz de David, ha vencido para abrir el libro y sus siete sellos”.
Y en medio del trono y de los cuatro seres vivientes y de los ancianos vi un Cordero de pie, como inmolado. Tenía siete cuernos y siete ojos, que son los siete Espíritus de Dios enviados a toda la tierra. Él fue y tomó el libro de la mano derecha del que estaba sentado en el trono. Cuando tomó el libro, los cuatro seres vivientes y los veinticuatro ancianos se postraron delante del Cordero. Cada uno tenía un arpa y copas de oro llenas de incienso, que son las oraciones de los santos. Ellos entonaban un cántico nuevo, diciendo: “¡Digno eres de tomar el libro y de abrir sus sellos! Porque tú fuiste inmolado y con tu sangre has redimido para Dios gente de toda raza, lengua, pueblo y nación. Tú los has constituido en un reino y sacerdotes para nuestro Dios, y reinarán sobre la tierra”.
Y miré, y oí la voz de muchos ángeles alrededor del trono y de los seres vivientes y de los ancianos. El número de ellos era miríadas de miríadas y millares de millares. Y decían a gran voz: “Digno es el Cordero, que fue inmolado, de recibir el poder, las riquezas, la sabiduría, la fortaleza, la honra, la gloria y la alabanza”.
Y oí a toda criatura que está en el cielo y sobre la tierra y debajo de la tierra y en el mar, y a todas las cosas que hay en ellos, diciendo: “Al que está sentado en el trono y al Cordero sean la bendición y la honra y la gloria y el poder por los siglos de los siglos”. Los cuatro seres vivientes decían: “¡Amén!”. Y los veinticuatro ancianos se postraron y adoraron.

La visión de Juan en el cielo continuó en éxtasis de adoración y alabanza. Pero ocurrió un momento muy preocupante porque no había nadie digno que abriera los sellos del libro misterioso. Juan sintió el dolor porque en el cielo no había nadie digno, pero en ese momento, se le mostró a Juan que había uno que había vencido, ¡y es Jesucristo!
Pienso que ese es el mismo dolor cuando nos damos cuenta que no podemos cambiar por nosotros mismos y que somos pecadores; pero podemos recordar ese momento glorioso cuando nos fue revelado que Jesucristo es el único camino a la salvación y a la vida eterna. Que por medio de su sacrificio fue el precio preciso para que nuestras vidas fueran liberadas de la maldad y la culpabilidad.
Por eso, en la visión celestial, Juan vió cómo hubo fiesta en los cielos cuando el Cordero inmolado apareció en medio de los seres vivientes. Al instante, se elevó un coro celestial de adoración para el Cordero.
Quiero anotar que estos seres celestiales tenían en sus manos un arpa y una copa llena de incienso. El incienso es una especie de perfume consagrado para ser ofrecido como olor agradable en la presencia de Dios. Lo hermoso es que en esta revelación podemos entender que ese incienso simboliza las oraciones de todos los que oran y claman a Dios día y noche. En esas copas de oro Dios ha estado depositando tus clamores, tus peticiones, tus palabras de adoración. ¡Dios no se ha olvidado de tu oración! Dios las recibe como un olor agradable y son presentadas ante su presencia por estos seres celestiales continuamente.

Tal vez será por eso que el Señor Jesucristo exaltó a aquella mujer que derramó el perfume costoso, desde su cabeza hasta los pies, y lavó sus pies con lágrimas. Jesús dijo que contarán la acción de esta mujer por donde quiera que se predique el evangelio.
Por eso los apóstoles nos animan continuamente por medio de sus cartas a que oremos continuamente y nos recuerdan que Dios no es injusto para olvidar nuestras oraciones.

¡No pares de orar! Recuerda que tus oraciones son perfume agradable en la presencia de Dios.

¿Estás consciente que tu oración es como perfume agradable delante de Dios?

August 30: Prayers in gold cups.

Revelation 5:1-14:
And I saw in the right hand of Him who sat on the throne a scroll written inside and on the back, sealed with seven seals. Then I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, “Who is worthy to open the scroll and to loose its seals?” And no one in heaven or on the earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll, or to look at it.
So I wept much, because no one was found worthy to open and read the scroll, or to look at it. But one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals.”
And I looked, and behold, in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as though it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent out into all the earth. Then He came and took the scroll out of the right hand of Him who sat on the throne.
Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. And they sang a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll, and to open its seals; for You were slain, and have redeemed us to God by Your blood out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, and have made us kings and priests to our God; and we shall reign on the earth.”
Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures, and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands, saying with a loud voice: “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom, and strength and honor and glory and blessing!”
And every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying: “Blessing and honor and glory and power be to Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb, forever and ever!”
Then the four living creatures said, “Amen!” And the twenty-four elders fell down and worshiped Him who lives forever and ever.


John's vision in heaven continued in ecstasy of adoration and praise. But a very disturbing moment occurred because there was no one worthy to open the seals of the mysterious book. John felt pain because in heaven there was no one worthy, but at that moment, John was shown that there was one who had overcome, and it is Jesus Christ!
I think that is the same pain when we realize that we cannot change by ourselves and that we are sinners; but we can remember that glorious moment when it was revealed to us that Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation and eternal life. That through His sacrifice was the precise price for our lives to be freed from evil and guilt.
For this reason, in the heavenly vision, John saw how there was a feast in heaven when the slain Lamb appeared in the midst of living beings. Instantly, a heavenly chorus of worship rose up for the Lamb.
I want to note that these celestial beings had in their hands a harp and a cup full of incense. Incense is a kind of consecrated perfume to be offered as a pleasant scent in the presence of God. The beautiful thing is that in this revelation we can understand that this incense symbolizes the prayers of all those who pray and cry out to God day and night. In those golden cups God has been depositing your cries, your requests, your words of adoration. God has not forgotten your prayer! God receives them as a pleasant scent and they are presented in His presence by these celestial beings continually.

Perhaps that is why the Lord Jesus Christ exalted that woman who shed the expensive perfume, from His head to His feet, and washed His feet with tears. Jesus said that everyone will tell the action of this woman wherever the gospel is preached.
That is why the apostles continually encourage us through their letters to pray continually and remind us that God is not unjust to forget our prayers.

Don't stop praying! Remember that your prayers are a pleasant perfume in the presence of God.

Consider this:
Do you think that God does not hear your prayer and that it somehow gets lost in the air or gets stuck on the ceiling?
Are you aware that your prayer is like a pleasant perfume before God?
