This week, we’re asking God to help us be a little more hopeful.


Being hopeful is such a powerful attitude to have. It helps us carry on with whatever we do or plan on doing. It enables us to shift our focus from what is not working for us to the possibilities the future can offer.


The foundation of our hope is not stuff, which is temporary. Nor is it on people who come and go. Our hope is grounded in who God is and what God can do for us.


No matter what we go through this week, let’s pray that God helps us keep our eyes on the unlimited possibilities God will usher into our lives starting now.


Most precious and loving Father,


I thank you for all the plans you have for me. I know they are all plans for welfare, and which give me a future and hope. Fill me with all the joy and peace so that by the power of the Holy Spirit I live in hope. Help me rejoice in hope, and be patient even when things are not going my way. Help me be constant in prayer and believe in the unlimited possibilities you will usher into my life this week and the rest of my life here on earth. I choose to hope for what I do not see, and will wait for your mighty works in my life with patience. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen!
