Un uomo, che nel film resterà sempre senza nome (interpretato da Michael Fassbender), è un sicario, freddo e metodico, che uccide le sue vittime senza lasciare tracce.Durante una missione, che avrebbe dovuto essere di normale routine, qualcosa va storto e improvvisamente il killer diventa egli stesso un bersaglio da eliminare.
