When Love Calls came from Atlantic Starr’s third studio album, Radiant.  The song is written by David Lewis and Wayne Lewis. When Love Calls Peaked at number five on billboard’s R&B chart and number 80 on billboard’s dance music chart in 1981.

 The lyrics said: When love calls
 You better answer
 Cause it might be a big mistake if you decide to hesitate.
 The single is a pretty good R&B and dance song.

You may know  Atlantic star from singing the hits Always, Secret Lovers, and Masterpiece. You may also know them from singing One Lover, At a Time, If Your Heart Isn't In It, and My First Love.

 The group started in the 1970s and they were singing in the 80s They have changed and replaced members. There were some members that had solo careers. They were plentiful in members.
