Jessica Reznicek is a Catholic Worker Movement and climate activist from Iowa. On June 29, 2021, she was sentenced to eight years in federal prison, followed by 3 years probation, & a restitution of $3 million paid to ETP for a series of “attacks” on the Dakota Access Pipeline. She was also designated a domestic terrorist by the court. Two of her supporters, attorney Bill Quigley and activist Alex Cohen join Nomiki to discuss Jessica's case.
Bill Quigley is Professor Emeritus, teaching at Loyola Law School in New Orleans. Alex Cohen is a climate justice organizer, friend of Jessica Reznicek, and member of the Campaign to Free Jessica Reznicek.
