Writing about a loved one: Telling someone else's story in your memoir
📚 An interview with Colin MacArthur author of French Toast. Colin talks about writing his memoir as a vessel to tell his partner's story.
😸Colin's Tips
1. Until you write it down, no one can edit it or give you any feedback. If English or writing is a struggle, write it down like you talk. Then get it to a superb editor.
2. Look into the history of your editor to see what else they have edited. Also ask other authors for their suggestions.
3. Look for your local writers' or authors' association. Join and get support from them.
