Greg Twemlow's Medium article argues that effective collaboration with AI hinges not on improved prompts, but on the user's self-authorship and strategic positioning. It contends that treating AI like a mere search engine leads to suboptimal results; instead, users should view AI as an intelligent collaborator. The text introduces the concept of a "Custom Context CV" (C3), a strategic document that defines the user's identity, collaboration boundaries, quality standards, and contextual cues for AI. By crafting this C3, users can establish rapport, build trust, and demonstrate confidence, mirroring principles of effective human influence. Ultimately, the article advocates for a shift from "managing" AI to "authoring" oneself, fostering deeper, more productive partnerships with artificial intelligence. Read the article.
