Mark Grimaldi, Executive Producer of The Leslie Marshall Show, guest hosts for Leslie this hour.
Mark is joined by Cliff Schecter, the Founder and President of public relations and political strategy firm, Libertas LLC. They discuss two ballot initiatives that Ohioans will be voting on tomorrow. Ballot initiative #3 would legalize Marijuana (recreational and medicinal), while ballot initiative #2 (a 'poison pill' put on the ballot by Republicans to sink Marijuana legalization) would allow a handful of political cronies to have the final say on all ballot initiatives.
Cliff explains the issue very precisely in his piece for Cincinnati.com. - http://www.cincinnati.com/story/opinion/contributors/2015/10/25/schecter-lawmakers-real-monopolists/74599930/.
Cliff Schecter has worked on campaigns or as a PR consultant for everyone from former President Bill Clinton to former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg and The Susan Thompson Buffett Foundation.
Schecter is the author of the 2008 Bestseller The Real McCain, a columnist for The Daily Beast and sits on the Board of the Ohio Innocence Project.
