El: Η ημέρα ήταν ηλιόλουστη και η αγορά της Αθήνας γεμάτη κόσμο.
En: The day was sunny and the Athens market was full of people.

El: Ο Νίκος και η Ελένα περπατούσαν ανάμεσα στους πάγκους.
En: Nikos and Elena were walking among the stalls.

El: Ο Νίκος ήθελε να αγοράσει φρέσκα λαχανικά για το βραδινό τραπέζι.
En: Nikos wanted to buy fresh vegetables for the dinner table.

El: «Νίκο, αυτές οι ντομάτες φαίνονται πολύ καλές,» είπε η Ελένα δείχνοντας έναν πάγκο.
En: "Nikos, these tomatoes look very good," said Elena, pointing to a stall.

El: Ο Νίκος σταμάτησε και κοίταξε τις ντομάτες.
En: Nikos stopped and looked at the tomatoes.

El: «Πόσο κοστίζουν;
En: "How much do they cost?"

El: » ρώτησε τον πωλητή.
En: he asked the vendor.

El: Ο πωλητής, ένας ηλικιωμένος άντρας με λευκά μαλλιά, χαμογέλασε.
En: The vendor, an elderly man with white hair, smiled.

El: «Δύο ευρώ το κιλό,» είπε.
En: "Two euros per kilo," he said.

El: Ο Νίκος σκέφτηκε λίγο και απάντησε, «Μπορώ να πάρω ένα κιλό για ενάμισι ευρώ;
En: Nikos thought for a moment and replied, "Can I get a kilo for one and a half euros?"

El: »Ο πωλητής κούνησε το κεφάλι.
En: The vendor shook his head.

El: «Δύσκολο.
En: "Difficult.

El: Οι ντομάτες είναι πολύ φρέσκιες και καλές.
En: The tomatoes are very fresh and good.

El: Το καλύτερο που μπορώ να κάνω είναι ένα κιλό για ένα ευρώ και εβδομήντα πέντε λεπτά.
En: The best I can do is one kilo for one euro and seventy-five cents."

El: »Η Ελένα κοίταξε τον Νίκο με ένα μικρό χαμόγελο.
En: Elena looked at Nikos with a small smile.

El: «Νομίζω ότι είναι καλή τιμή, Νίκο.
En: "I think it's a good price, Nikos.

El: Ας τις πάρουμε.
En: Let's take them."

El: »Ο Νίκος συμφώνησε και πλήρωσε τον πωλητή.
En: Nikos agreed and paid the vendor.

El: Έβαλαν τις ντομάτες στο καλάθι τους και συνέχισαν την περιήγησή τους στην αγορά.
En: They put the tomatoes in their basket and continued their tour of the market.

El: Προχώρησαν σε έναν άλλο πάγκο όπου υπήρχαν λαμπερά πορτοκάλια.
En: They moved to another stall where there were shiny oranges.

El: Η Ελένα αγάπησε τα πορτοκάλια και ήθελε μερικά για χυμό.
En: Elena loved oranges and wanted some for juice.

El: «Καλημέρα,» είπε στον πωλητή του πάγκου.
En: "Good morning," she said to the stall vendor.

El: «Πόσο κοστίζουν τα πορτοκάλια;
En: "How much do the oranges cost?"

El: »«Ένα ευρώ το κιλό,» απάντησε ο πωλητής.
En: "One euro per kilo," replied the vendor.

El: Η Ελένα ρώτησε, «Αν πάρω δύο κιλά, μπορώ να έχω καλύτερη τιμή;
En: Elena asked, "If I take two kilos, can I get a better price?"

El: »Ο πωλητής σκέφτηκε λίγο και είπε, «Μπορώ να σας τα δώσω για ενενήντα λεπτά το κιλό, αν πάρετε δύο κιλά.
En: The vendor thought for a moment and said, "I can give them to you for ninety cents per kilo if you take two kilos."

El: »Η Ελένα κοίταξε τον Νίκο, ο οποίος χαμογελούσε.
En: Elena looked at Nikos, who was smiling.

El: «Είναι μια καλή προσφορά,» είπε ο Νίκος.
En: "That's a good offer," said Nikos.

El: «Εντάξει, θα τα πάρουμε,» είπε η Ελένα ευχαριστημένη.
En: "Alright, we'll take them," said Elena, pleased.

El: Όπως τελείωναν τις αγορές τους, ο Νίκος και η Ελένα ένιωθαν χαρούμενοι και ικανοποιημένοι.
En: As they finished their shopping, Nikos and Elena felt happy and satisfied.

El: Είχαν καταφέρει να βρουν καλές προσφορές και να γεμίσουν το καλάθι τους με φρέσκα προϊόντα για το βραδινό τους γεύμα.
En: They had managed to find good deals and fill their basket with fresh produce for their dinner.

El: Έτσι, αποχαιρέτησαν την πολύβουη αγορά της Αθήνας και επέστρεψαν στο σπίτι, όπου ετοίμασαν ένα υπέροχο δείπνο, γεμάτο φρέσκες, γευστικές ντομάτες και πορτοκάλια.
En: So, they said goodbye to the bustling Athens market and returned home, where they prepared a wonderful dinner filled with fresh, tasty tomatoes and oranges.
