We welcome back to our podcast a very popular guest, Michael Roy. In today's episode, we wanted to go more in-depth on the topic of bike safety, both from the cyclists and the individual driving a vehicle. Active transportation and stricter laws on distracted driving are what we really get into in this episode. So many people drive distracted in today's society it's insane and the fines for driving distracted are peanuts. Michael talks about the complacency we share out there and how it seems to be a driver's
world. Anytime we take our eyes off the road there is a danger of someone being hit and injured or even killed. Everyone associated with that person is affected and there is just no need for it. Michael has a fantastic list that cyclists can do to make their ride safer and we at Motivate to Move to believe Michael's list is spot on and should be shared with as many people as possible. Holding ourselves to account and helping each other is part of Michael's message, along with education on the subject of road and bike safety would go a long way to helping this issue. Michael talks to us about some things motorists can do to help make it safer for cyclists. These two lists are very enlightening and once again we hope this podcast is shared with as many people as possible, it could save someone's life.
