A South Bay leader is heading to Sacramento to bring forth legislation that repeals cruising. Officials say 24-year-old Davion Irvin, the man accused of stealing two emperor tamarin monkeys from the Dallas Zoo, was arrested near a transit train station. Zoo officials say Irvin is also likely linked to other incidents and tampering. California officials are considering a plan to make flag football a girls’ high school sport amid soaring popularity of the game and a push to get more female athletes on the field.
