She has been called the Flying Angel as one of the stewardesses to volunteer for the MAC Continental Airlines flights during the Vietnam War. This is not only Betty's story of that of many of the Vietnam Vets who returned from the war and told in their own words. Vietnam Vets have been reluctant to share with us their experiences in an unpopular war. Many were drafted into service but there were others whom enlisted. Betty's brother and my brother enlisted, they both came home.
