One thing I've learned about working with Robert Meyer Burnett for the past few years is the man is full of surprises ... even when they're predictable surprises. Confused? Let me explain.
I had a huge list of things to talk about for today's call. The podcasts (both of them) have gone great so far, but I convinced myself that a little more preparation would allow us to cover a wider range of topics and keep things fresh and interesting.
Unfortunately, the first thing on my list was "Star Trek" and, well, you know how this is going to go ... we now have a 35 minute podcast about Star Trek (and a second part I'll be dropping tomorrow, LOL).
Don't get me wrong. It's still a fascinating conversation. Because when it comes to actual "Treksperts" no one can really compare to Rob. (He is, after all, an Inglorious one, but that's another guy's podcast.)
Anyway, on this show, we talk a little Play Trek (trust me, you'll want to check out the videos, they're hilarious), the new XO6 action figures coming out, and then we get into what's wrong with Star Trek: Discovery and nu-Trek in general. I cover this in much greater detail on our blog post for this podcast, so if you want to learn more, you can go to our website at: www.postgeeksingularity.com/ROADT-003
Please be sure to check out our special, Saturday podcast which is, technically, the second half of this extended interview with RMB. I'll be dropping it around noon Pacific Time and then we'll get back on our regular schedule on Monday, April 11.
I invite you to listen in on my weekday conversations with my friend and business partner, Robert Meyer Burnett, as we talk about the things we love: great movies, inspiring television programming, nostalgic genre entertainment, and pop culture.

This is an original show produced for the PGS podcast network and was recorded on April 8, 2022.
