Brian interviews Nollaig Crombie. Nollaig is Head of Department of Design & Creative Media, Letterkenny Institute Technology in Northwest Ireland about trends in animation and illustration, digital art, animation and design and living in rural Ireland! She has a BA (Honours) in Visual Communication; and an MA in Interactive Design. Nollaig’s keen interest and experience in the visual arts, encompasses many different media – animation, illustration, painting, printmaking, sculpture/bronze and interactive design. Her appointment as Head of Department in 2005 has seen the department grow its offerings and international networks.
