Etapa 1 de esta Vuelta a España 2024. Etapa contrarreloj individual que nos llevaba por un recorrido llano de 12 kilometros por el litoral de Portugal. Nos desplazábamos desde LISBOA hasta OEIRAS.   

Jornada vibrante la que hemos vivido en el día de hoy donde el esloveno Primor Roglic ha acabado como el mejor de entre los favoritos a esa lucha por la victoria final en Madrid.  

Etapa que ha transcurrido en Portugal y donde hemos contado con emoción hasta el final viendo actuaciones magnificas tal y como se esperaba como la de Stephan Kung y otras no tan esperables pero muy sorprendentes como la del checo Vacek o el ganador de etapa y primer líder de esta Vuelta a España el americano Brandon McNulty.

Stage 1 of this 2024 Vuelta a España. An individual time trial that took us on a flat 12-kilometer route along the coast of Portugal. We traveled from LISBON to OEIRAS.  

It was an exciting day today, with Slovenian Primož Roglič finishing as the best among the favorites for the final victory in Madrid.  

The stage took place in Portugal, and we experienced excitement until the end, witnessing magnificent performances as expected, like that of Stefan Küng, and others that were not as expected but very surprising, such as that of the Czech Vacek or the stage winner and first leader of this Vuelta a España, the American Brandon McNulty.  

What did you think of this initial time trial? Were you surprised by any of the riders? Do you think a breakaway will succeed tomorrow, or will it be contested in a sprint?
