Etapa 4 de esta Vuelta a España 2024 primera ya por tierras españolas y que nos llevaba desde PLASENCIA hasta el PICO VILLUERCAS en ese recorrido de montaña por la zona de Extremadura que sumaba un total de 170,5 kilometros.
Jornada donde se produjo una caída masiva pero sin consecuencias en esa primera dificultad montañosa y donde Kaden Groves se impouso a Wout Van Aert en el sprint bonificado.
Mikel Landa aupa al landismo tratando de sorprender con un ataque a escasos metros de la meta pero finalmente Primor Roglic se haría con la victoria en el primer final en alto y con ese maillot rojo como líder de la general.
Mañana primera etapa con llana que va desde FUENTE DEL MAESTRE hasta SEVILLA en una jornada con 177 kilometros de un recorrido llano donde los sprinters tendrán una de las pocas oportunidades de esta vuelta.

Stage 4 of this Vuelta a España 2024, the first one on Spanish soil, took us from PLASENCIA to PICO VILLUERCAS in that mountainous route through the Extremadura region, covering a total of 170.5 kilometers.
It was a day marked by a massive crash, fortunately without consequences, on the first mountainous challenge, where Kaden Groves beat Wout Van Aert in the bonus sprint.
Mikel Landa lifted the spirits of landismo by attempting a surprise attack just meters from the finish line, but ultimately, Primor Roglic claimed victory at the first summit finish and took the red jersey as the overall leader.
Tomorrow is the first flat stage, going from FUENTE DEL MAESTRE to SEVILLA, in a 177-kilometer flat route where the sprinters will have one of their few opportunities in this Vuelta.
