In California, the Gubernatorial Recall Election captured the attention from across the country. Politicians from all over the country flocked to the state in support of Governor Gavin Newsom. At Beach City Radio, we wanted to be a conduit and source of information. And so we presented a townhall meeting featuring some thought leaders in the world of politics.

We sought to be balanced and invited Carolyn Fowler – Chair of the Women’s Caucus, California State Democratic Party/Democratic National Committee; Councilmember Al Austin II – 8th District, City of Long Beach, Dr. Anthony Samad – Executive Director, Mervyn Dymally Economic and Political Institute, California State University, Dominguez Hills; and Craig DeLuz, California Republican Assembly.
