I'm taking on the 28 Mile Challenge this September for Teenage Cancer Trust.
Sadly my beautiful, brave, stunning, kind girl Alana has relapsed with AML for the 3rd time. I have no words, I am speechless. Walking 28 miles may not seem a lot, but getting up and dressed to face the day like she does is harder than you think. So if you would like to give me another reason to get up and out each day then please donate. Alana is being cared for by the TCT in Cardiff, with too many other young people facing the worst imaginable trauma. I would just like to help give them the best support they can have x
Every day, seven young people aged 13-24 hear the words "you have cancer". They will each need specialised nursing care and support to get them through it. Teenage Cancer Trust are the only UK charity dedicated to meeting this vital need - so no young person faces cancer alone.
Every £30 raised could pay for an hour of care from a Teenage Cancer Trust nurse, who knows what cancer really means to young people and can provide thoughtful, sensitive, expert support.
