After a prolonged hiatus, Melbourne rockers The Casanovas recently returned in style with Reptilian Overlord, a collection of in your face rock tunes that shows like a fine wine The Casanovas only improve with age.
"It's pretty exciting," enthused vocalist and bass player Damo Campbell. "We've been through a few changes over the years and we had some time when we weren't really doing anything at all. We did this album sort of in-between drummers as well so it was really just me and Tommy on the back of doing a really cool European tour a couple of years ago and we had the motivation to start working on another album. We got together with Mark Opitz - who has produced a lot of the good stuff from that golden era of Australian rock including AC/DC, Cold Chisel and The Divinyls - so working with him was pretty cool too."
