He: על חומות ירושלים העתיקה, שתי דמויות עמדו מול נוף מרהיב של מגדלי האבן הדהום.
En: On the walls of ancient Jerusalem, two figures stood facing a breathtaking view of the imposing stone towers.

He: רחל, עם שיערה השחור כאובסידיאן, עיניים כחולות כשמי תל אביב באוגוסט, וחיוך שנראה תמיד מוכן לכל מצב.
En: Rachel, with her hair as black as obsidian, eyes as blue as the skies of Tel Aviv in August, and a smile that always seemed ready for anything.

He: חברה הנאמן היה יוסף – עליז ופלג, נאמן לאותה חיוך של רחל.
En: Her loyal companion was Joseph – lively and cheerful, faithful to Rachel's same smile.

He: הם יצאו אל השטחים, רחל המנותקת מאוד מן הרעש העירוני של תל אביב ויוסף, מחפש הרפתקאות.
En: They ventured out into the fields, Rachel very detached from the urban noise of Tel Aviv and Joseph, seeking adventure.

He: המטרה הייתה לעזור לדייב – נכרי שהגיע מאמריקה, להבין מה זו "חוצפה".
En: The goal was to help Dave – a foreigner who had come from America, understand what "chutzpah" is.

He: "זוהי מילה מסובכת," התחילה רחל, "היא יכולה להתאים למגוון מצבים, לכן עליה להיבחנה במציות".
En: "It's a complex word," Rachel began, "it can fit into a variety of situations, so it needs to be distinguished by its context."

He: ככה התחלתן המסע.
En: And so their journey began.

En: They encountered cases that provided examples of chutzpah: market vendors exploiting tourists, complainants in the city hall chamber, and beggars at shop windows.

He: דייב, שראה כל אלה, התחיל להבין את המושג.
En: Dave, witnessing all this, began to grasp the concept.

He: אבל השקף הגאני שקיבל מהם הוא שהחוצפה מתפרצת משום מקום, נושאת בתוכה דינמיקה של שינוי.
En: But the insight he gained from them was that chutzpah erupts from somewhere, carrying within it a dynamic of change.
