Joe Elliott of Def Leppard. The bands brand new album is out today. Simply titled Def Leppard, it comes seven years after their last studio effort, 2008's Songs From the Sparkle Lounge.
Singer Joe Elliott tells us the initial plan was to record an EP, but after the guys got together to share ideas, they realized they had enough material for an album. And guitarist Phil Collen adds, "I think this is the best thing we've done since Hysteria. It has a different kind of flavor to it."
The album contains 14 songs, and a video for the first single, "Let's Go," is also out today (Friday). Other song titles include "Dangerous," "Man Enough," "We Belong," "Invincible," "Sea of Love" and "Energized."
