Making things more confortable in the shop.


Summer in the shop has been busy and hot. Finding ways to make things more comfortable in the shop was my priority this summer. So I started tackling some projects I had been putting off.

When some florescent bulbs stopped working it was time to change them. But while I was at it I decided to install new LED bulbs to replace the florescent bulbs.LED bulbs have come way down in price and installing them can really drop your electrical bill and also really brighten up the shop.

Bill Griggs discusses his recent trip to Eastec conference (see episode 71). He also talked about the weekly Live CNC Router Mixers on Zoom every Wednesday at 7PM ET. Members get together to talk about CNC Routers and their project. Talley Boatwright recently posted some pictures of his new vacuum table, which got Bill thinking about adding a vacuum table to his CNC Router. Bill picked up a vacuum pump motor from Oneida Air and began making plans to install it using some gaskets and advice from Alex Palm of Allstar CNC.
