Memorial Day is sometimes thought of as the kick off to the summer months, and it is – however more importantly it is to honor those that made the ultimate sacrifice and gave their lives in defense of our country. The fallen heroes who never made it home.
One such hero is Corporal Alfons Stanislaus Duziec, Tech 5, US Army, 83rd Division, 322nd Field Artillery Battalion, Battery B, KIA July 15, 1944 Carentan, France.
