Mesa, Arizona POLICE DAILY INCIDENT REPORT

Over the past 48 hours, several incidents have been reported and investigated by the Mesa Police Department and other law enforcement agencies in the area.

On November 18, 2024, at Scottsdale Community College, a disorderly conduct incident was reported between 12:57 AM and 2:26 AM. The case has been turned over to another agency for further investigation. Case number 24029159.

In Mesa, on November 17, 2024, six people were detained following a shooting on US 60 near Mesa Drive. The incident is under investigation.

On November 14, 2024, an "old military style mortar" was donated to a Goodwill in Mesa, prompting a bomb squad response at Dobson and Guadalupe roads around 4 PM.

A significant animal cruelty case was resolved with the arrest of Brook Scalero on November 14, 2024. Scalero was charged with multiple counts of animal cruelty and theft after admitting to the torture and deaths of several dogs. She was booked into jail on November 18, 2024.

On November 18, 2024, a theft other than a motor vehicle was reported at Rio Salado College Downtown, occurring between August 1, 2024, and November 18, 2024. The case is pending. Case number 24029227.

On November 19, 2024, a stolen vehicle was reported at Glendale Community College between 2:16 PM and 2:44 PM. The case was determined to be unfounded. Case number 24029339.

Additionally, on November 19, 2024, a theft other than a motor vehicle was reported at South Mountain Community College between 2:44 PM and 5:09 PM. The case is pending. Case number 24029345.
