Recently retired dairy farmer Richard Blennerhassett in Co. Limerick, talks about his Cross Compliance inspection. Blennerhassett told the Irish Farmers Journal that the inspector was very strict on issues around spraying and that the inspector informed him the Department of Agriculture were targeting dairy farmers which is why he’d been chosen for an inspection.
