In 2020, the CrossFit Games team announced that they would be introducing an adaptive division to the CrossFit Games season. Since then it has yet to catch more flak than traction centering around the implementation, available divisions and standards, and lack of in person representation at The CrossFit Games.
Fast forward to 2023, the CrossFit Games have just announced the brand new format for adaptive athletes. New Director of the Adaptive Division and former CrossFit Games Champion Kevin Ogar joins the show. We talk about what went into the decision to make this change and what we can look forward to next year's CrossFit Games season.
