Nb: I Bergen bor det tre gode venner.
En: In Bergen lives three good friends.

Nb: De heter Lars, Ingrid og Jørgen.
En: Their names are Lars, Ingrid, and Jørgen.

Nb: De bor i tre fine, røde hus ved en stor, grønn park.
En: They live in three nice, red houses by a large, green park.

Nb: De finner på gøyale ting sammen.
En: They come up with fun things to do together.

Nb: På midtsommer hvert år skjer det noe ekstra gøy.
En: Every midsummer, something extra fun happens.

Nb: En smaragdgrønn sommersol nyter hissig dans på himmelen.
En: An emerald green summer sun enjoys a fierce dance in the sky.

Nb: I Bergen, byen mellom syv fjell, starter dagen stille.
En: In Bergen, the city between seven mountains, the day starts quietly.

En: "Hello, everyone," he shouts.

Nb: Ingrid kommer etter, hat fruktene vinker.

Nb: Solen går ned, men gleden er enda høy.
