If you apply the words you hear today, over time, it will help you become more healthy, wealthy, and wise as you continue your daily trek of life. So let’s jump right in with today’s nugget:
Today’s quote is from Bil Keane, and it is: A hug is like a boomerang — you get it back right away.
Boomerang Hugs
There are very few people who don’t like a good hug, and the great thing about earnestly hugging another person is that you receive a hug back at the same time. I realize that during the past couple of years, we were cautioned and somewhat restricted on who and when we should hug another person during the ongoing pandemic. I understand the concerns, but feel that it was more detrimental not to show this form of affection to so many who desperately need this connection with others. There is an innate desire within each of us to crave the gentle touch from another person. This desire does not go away during times of illness or hardship. If anything, it heightens such a need. So as permitted, and where appropriate, show your love and concern for others through a healthy hug. Show others that you do care and what is best for them. In return, in most cases, that hug will come back to you as they return the mutual love and concern for you.

Romans 12:9-11
Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other. Never be lazy, but work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically.
