For some reason we pet owners seem to bond closer to our animals,  than say,  our family probably because we spend a lot more time with them for one thing!

They're often our shadows - so when they die, we grieve deeply, often more than after a human's passing.   So, over the last couple of weeks we’ve been learning what a grief counsellor does… and the various stages of grief.
